Week 20

This week I had hopes for more tranquility. No smiles, no poses, just Abigail in her peaceful moods. I didn’t get what I wanted, but I still love every bit of this! This photo shows her personality, liveliness and joy and that’s exactly what I need this week♥

Week 18…

I was out of shampoo, no makeup, not feeling at my best… but this is the us I want you to remember. Your mommy and daddy on a regular lazy Saturday. The day of the week we all long for. No work. No school. Just us enjoying each other’s time. My babies, when you grow up and start families of your own I want you to be able to look back and have what I had growing up. The peace in knowing how much love we all share right now and forever. The joy in having more goofy times than serious. Because I have countless photos of you sleeping peacefully at night when you’re in dream land, I want you to have something to look back and smile at too. Regular ol’ mom & dad, just as we are♥

Remember that on this day we stepped quietly as a hummingbird made her way to her nest. Then we discovered her nest was hardly bigger than a quarter. Bug, remember that you loved ridding your scooter and you are just as clumsy as your mommy, you and I have the scars to prove it! Abby, that in the morning, you ended up with more toothpaste in your hair than on your toothbrush and you love to swing in the yard while you sing your heart out. This is for your tomorrow.

I’ve got to tell you guys, as much as I loved part I of Chris & Mimi’s engagements, part II totally sends me to my happy place! There is something incredibly special about high school sweethearts♥ It’s kind of a rare thing these days so it’s something to be treasured always!

When getting session details together, I usually throw out a few ideas for locations. They’re all from a list of places I’ve been before. Every once in a while someone will shoot back with a location they really really want. Mimi asked if we could do part of their session at Foothill High School, and I LOVED it.

Chris & Mimi, I love seeing how you two interact together. Both times I photographed you two I noticed you couldn’t keep your eyes off each other. Instead I had to ask for you to look at me now and then! I know you two already share so much together, but your wedding day is going to bring so much more to what you already have♥ I cannot wait for your big day!

Big thanks to Foothill High School for allowing us to use the school grounds. It was the perfect location!

I get so excited over these things! What’s better than a special freebie with your session? Yeah, I dunno either… I like free stuff, especially when I can show it off! Here’s the deal, I’m giving these awesome little accordion mini’s away with each session booked for a limited time. Even more fun, they come in a set of THREE. One for you, one for Gma #1 one for Gma #2! They’re 3in x 3in so they’re small enough to tote in your purse. If you would rather show it off at home they’re magnetic and stick right to your refrigerator. You want them don’t you?!

So here’s what you do….

•Book your session before June 1, 2012 (I’m already down to a very limited availability this year, check my calendar for dates!)
•Complete your session before September 1, 2012
*Get your set of 3 Mini Accordion Albums free!

Ready? BOOK YOUR SESSION!

Week 17

I LOVE that I can lay her down for bedtime, then come back to check on her 20mins later to find her dressed different! This time with a headband on and snuggling her Lalaloopsy doll♥ I love the way she sleeps.
