William & Tahnee’s wedding was held in early April, at the beautiful Hacienda Tejon Ranch. Every last special detail was thought of. Many of them even handmade by Tahnee & her family & friends. Heirlooms they can keep forever or pass down to their own children in the distant future for their own weddings!

When I first met with Tahnee, her sister & her mother last year, I asked her about details, special moments, and her dreams for her wedding day. What she said, I wrote down just like I always do. I love to pull out that scrappy piece of paper and compare what’s said to what was captured. Did I get it? Is it there? She said that she wanted it to be “Romantic, exciting, fun & silly”. Guys, my heart skips a beat because the entire day? Was each of those words, completely. I strongly believe that it’s not only because Tahnee & William put so much of their hearts into their day, but because of who they are. Being near them you feel like smiling, dancing, and embracing life.

Throughout the day I remember stopping to just look around and take in all of my surroundings. Weddings can be absolutely overwhelming, that’s no secret! It’s natural for things to happen. Anyhow, as I observed everything and everyone around me, the one thing that stood out the most was the joy, laughter and happiness that encompassed every single family member & guest they asked to join them. It was absolutely beautiful to witness, and so I share every bit of it with you here ♥
