I had one goal for the year 2013, and that was for it to knock my socks off. That it did ♥ Just like everyone else at the end of the year, I sit back and feel so gracious for all the beautiful people I’ve met, worked with, made friends with. Thank you for making this year exactly what I dreamed of. Here’s to a wonderful year, and blessings for the new one!

My favorite Johnston Family ventured out for their fall family session just last month, and I love them for it! I cannot believe how much little guy has grown!
This guy is so full of awesome. Don’t believe me? I dare you to give him your best gorilla impression and just see how he lights up! Plus, he doesn’t judge if you completely suck at being a gorilla ;)
So, I’ve had my pretty blue settee for a while now. I purposely bought it for my office & to tow out to sessions every now & then. First time for everything, because she finally made it out of the house! Also, bonus points for clients who come to the help to unload it ♥ Obviously I’ve lucked out in the awesome client department!

Hold on you guys, before I continue with this blog post I just have to take a moment to really just take a deep breath…. and breathe in all that fall goodness! I ♥ California, but I crave that real deep reds & oranges, crunchy leaves goodness! We just don’t get it here in Bakersfield. Well, not like up North or the East Coast anyway! So this fall family session makes all sorts of happy :)

Nick & Carrie’s beautiful (I mean really, my jaw dropped!) wedding took place in the backyard of a private family estate in Bakersfield, CA. Every single elegant detail was thought of. Champagne, navy, fall leaves, romantic light, white pumpkins and special love signs throughout decorated their evening. The best part is, is that it was completely a surprise for Carrie, made memorable by Nick’s mom. I could have spent hours photographing just the details!
