A little bit vintage | Bakersfield Child Photography

I’ve been sharing an awful lot of personal photos lately. That’s because I’ve challenged myself this year to capture my life as much as I capture everyone else’s! So thanks for sticking with me through one of my many challenges this year!

It’s my big guy’s 6th birthday this week. I’m trying to figure out where these last few years have gone!

Project 52: Stuffed Love | Child Photographer Bakersfield CA

Week 10

I couldn’t be more happy with this moment♥ I had no part in this other than being the photographer. Today is a beautiful day and we’re enjoying the gorgeous weather! Yesterday I had surgery, so this week has been very busy and I almost forgot about my P52 this week! Whoops! I was sitting here on the phone watching as my kiddos dragged their favorite stuffed animals outside one by one. When I finished up with my phone call, I grabbed my camera and snuck outside. This is what I found!

If you ever need assurance that life is wonderful, look to your children♥

Project 52: Goodbye Winter | Child Photographer, Bakersfield CA

Week 9

The Almond Orchard blooms are just about finished up, such a beautiful site! I’m just about finished editing this full session, so I’ll post the rest later. I specifically took my kids out to the orchards this week to get this style black and white! I don’t usually shoot for black and white, mostly I try to avoid it since I love color! I think the soft hazy feel works for this one pretty well.

Come home soon! | Bakersfield OpLove Family Photographer

Normally for OpLove sessions, I’m traveling 1-3 hours north or south to meet up with the family. I was pretty excited to be able to work with one of Bakersfield’s amazing military families! They were pretty fun too, lots of laughter and jokes shared to lighten the mood :)

Thanks so much you guys! Your packages have been sent off, and I look forward to your homecoming later this year!
